Go-to-Market (GTM) Engineer

The Go-To-Market Engineer (GTME) is responsible for designing, building, and scaling revenue-generating GTM systems, translating GTM strategy into automated workflows that enhance marketing, sales, and customer success operations.

Responsibilities
Own the technical design and implementation of end-to-end GTM systems across outbound, inbound, expansion, and lifecycle motions
Build and maintain Clay-powered workflows for account selection, enrichment, scoring, segmentation, and personalization
Design scalable GTM automations that connect data, intent signals, and engagement tools across the revenue stack
Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability across GTM systems, including CRM objects, properties, and events
Translate GTM strategy into executable RevOps workflows spanning marketing, sales, and customer success
Partner with Revenue and Solution Architects to operationalize ICPs, personas, territories, routing logic, and success metrics
Continuously analyze funnel performance to identify bottlenecks, leakage, and opportunities for automation or experimentation
Implement attribution, reporting, and feedback loops that tie GTM execution directly to pipeline and revenue outcomes
Serve as a core delivery resource on client engagements, acting as the hands-on GTM systems expert
Advise client stakeholders on best practices for modern outbound, signal-based selling, and AI-enabled GTM execution
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes tied to growth, efficiency, and ROI
Support rapid experimentation, testing, and iteration in fast-paced, PE-backed environments where speed matters
Configure and optimize HubSpot and Salesforce environments to support advanced GTM use cases
Implement and manage integrations across Clay, Gong, enrichment providers, sequencing tools, and analytics platforms
Familiarity and experience with workflow automation tools such as N8N, Workato, Zapier, and Make.com
Create clear documentation, playbooks, and enablement materials to support adoption and long-term success
Partner with internal and client teams to ensure systems are not only built correctly, but actually used and scaled
Stay on the leading edge of GTM tooling, AI workflows, enrichment providers, and data sources
Contribute to NewEdge Growth’s internal GTM playbooks, templates, and reusable system components
Identify opportunities to standardize, productize, and improve how GTM systems are delivered across clients
Champion a mindset of experimentation, learning, and operational excellence across engagements
Qualification
Required
Experience in designing, building, and scaling revenue-generating GTM systems
Strong technical skills in tools like Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Gong
Ability to translate GTM strategy into automated, data-driven workflows
Experience with RevOps and funnel optimization
Ability to analyze funnel performance and identify opportunities for automation
Experience in configuring and optimizing HubSpot and Salesforce environments
Experience with workflow automation tools such as N8N, Workato, Zapier, and Make.com
Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes
Experience in client delivery and acting as a technical advisor
Ability to create documentation, playbooks, and enablement materials
A mindset of experimentation, learning, and operational excellence
