Inside Sales Representative

AllStar Cable Products, Inc. is a growing company seeking a high-energy professional experienced in wire & cable distribution sales. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting, building relationships with decision makers, and managing the sales process to close new accounts.

Responsibilities

Prospect daily and build relationships with decision makers: Low voltage integrators, electrical contractors, etc
Quote projects, follow up and close new accounts
Coordinate with warehouse/shipping for pickups and deliveries
Handle inbound calls and emails from contractors and purchasing teams
Maintain account notes, pricing history, and follow-up with quotes
Enter orders accurately and coordinate with purchasing/warehouse for ship dates

Required

Sales experience in the wire & cable industry (distribution)
Strong understanding of cable basics: AWG, conductor count, stranding, copper vs. tinned copper
Knowledge of common constructions: shielded/foil + drain, twisted pair, ripcord, spline
Typing at least 40 to 50 wpm
Competitive, organized, and comfortable handling a high volume of request
Strong multitasking, sense of urgency, and attention to detail
Proven ability to win new accounts (B2B SALES)
