Responsibilities
Lead and provide hands-on technical direction for network engineering projects and operations
Design and deploy SD-WAN, EVPN-VXLAN, and complex routing/switching environments using Cisco and Arista
Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize BGP, OSPF, and enterprise switching platforms
Architect and manage wireless networks with a focus on MIST solutions
Develop automation using Ansible, Terraform, APIs, and Infrastructure as Code practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers
Maintain network documentation, SOPs, and ensure standards compliance
Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and tools to improve performance and automation
Participate in on-call rotation to support network reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (minimum)
8+ years of IT experience, including 2–3 years in a senior or technical leadership role
Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
Proven leadership in cross-functional, global environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings
Deep expertise in LAN, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, EVPN-VXLAN
Hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista platforms
Advanced wireless networking experience
Network automation using Ansible, Python, REST APIs
Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Preferred
CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent certifications preferred
Arista and MIST certifications strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with MIST wireless design and optimization
Cloud and hybrid networking exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Arista experience in data center and campus environments
Financial awareness for budgeting, cost analysis, and vendor negotiations
Manufacturing industry experience
