Senior Customer Order Engineer
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Senior Customer Order Engineer. The Lead Customer Order Engineer is responsible for accurately interpreting purchaser specifications and translating them into complex drawings and bills-of-material understandable by Manufacturing and Purchasing.

Responsibilities
Develop a variety of complex drawings and bills-of-material based upon established product designs, which provides sufficient detail to accurately convey the purchaser’s equipment application
Consult with plant and field sales engineers in interpreting and defining new equipment applications
Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products
Advise C.O.D., Manufacturing and Purchasing – when required – in interpreting information for the accurate production of equipment in accordance with the purchaser’s requirements
Consult with the Quality Department in resolving issues after the equipment is shipped, when required
Direct purchaser visits to approve or release equipment
Conduct special development/application projects of a complex nature
Provide technical training and guidance to department personnel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
Must have an up to date working knowledge of LVA Product Engineering/COE engineering practices, procedures, and systems with the ability to engineer orders and/or contribute to production needs

Preferred
Masters degree in Engineering
Two (2) year of LVA Product Engineering/COE experience with completion of the Eaton Asheville Low Voltage Assemblies (LVA) COE Engineer Training Program
A working knowledge of applicable Low Voltage Assemblies products and regulatory standards (UL, CSA, and IEC)
Proficient in developing mechanical and electrical drawings
Experience with manufacturing and production processes
