Responsibilities

Learn and apply individual, fiduciary, and gift tax compliance process standards from initiation through completion
Assist and prepare tax returns, and other miscellaneous tax forms for individuals and trusts as well as provide support to prepare miscellaneous federal and state income tax calculations related to individuals and trusts
Contribute to multiple processes and aspects of a project to deliver a completed work product within a defined timeline and in accordance with quality control standards
Work on multiple engagements utilizing effective communication and collaboration skills to achieve common goals that contribute to quality client service
Aid with the initial review to ensure that all required information has been provided by the client and help in conducting tax research relating to individuals and trusts
Participate in periodic training and professional development, interact with local office engagement teams, and apply skills gained in training to optimize use of tax technology, process or improve quality of tax deliverables and services provided
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Required

Minimum one year of recent relevant experience
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel required
Effective verbal, written and organizational skills to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and engagement teams; attention to project details, timelines and work ethic to accomplish project assignments
Ability to manage time and multiple assignments based on instructions provided to meet or exceed expectations in a deadline driven environment
