They are seeking a paralegal in their Washington, DC office to become a key member of their real estate finance team, handling responsibilities related to structuring, documenting, and closing real estate loans.

Responsibilities
Preparing documentation for closings, including organizing, proofreading and assembling documents for transactions involving multiple properties and maintaining large deal files
Drafting loan and assignment documents; assist with drafting of loan servicing memoranda
Conducting due diligence review
Reviewing organizational charts and documents
Coordinating with title companies and reviewing title, survey and zoning documents
Coordinating closing and post-closing logistics including closing binders
Preparing UCC Financing Statements
Managing online SharePoint sites. Researching industry databases, publicly available information from local governments and other sources, and applicable law
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years prior experience as a paralegal in real estate finance or transactional finance
Excellent drafting and oral communication skills
Experience with title and survey review
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a strong cohesive team
Intermediate level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel) and document management systems
Preferred
Experience with multi-family, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, CMBS and secured lending transactions involving all real estate commercial asset classes
