Eaton’s Industrial Controls Division is currently seeking a Lead Test Engineer. The role involves supporting test design, development, and execution for embedded firmware and software, focusing on advanced motor protection and IoT applications.

Responsibilities

Lead test development and test execution for new product introductions and support development team through project lifecycle

Defining test plans and procedures

Support the architecture, development and maintenance of automated test frameworks, test systems and toolsets including model-based testing such as HiL, SiL

Defining project schedule details and milestones related to test

Support process improvement initiatives globally and functional excellence

Leveraging DFSS tools/knowledge in development and execution of test plans

Support KPI and test documentation reporting, practices and toolsets

Support root cause analysis for quality escapes and support root cause preventative actions

Delivering test related activities in alignment with Eaton’s phase gate process

Mentor test engineers globally

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited institution

Minimum of 4 years of experience in test engineering
