Responsibilities
Improves organizational financial performance through the application of original thinking to existing and emerging analytics methods, processes, products, and services
Applies knowledge of statistics, data modeling, data sciences, and artificial intelligence to recognize patterns, and make valuable discoveries
Conceptualizes, designs, develops and tests hypothesis analytics models for complex business problems
Translates company business requirements into semantic access, conceptual, logical and/or physical data models
Develops experimental design approaches to validate findings or test hypotheses
Develops processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
Collaborates with business stakeholders about the expected data quality and assures on the quality of information used in building models
Educates the organization both from Data science and the business perspectives on new approaches, such as testing hypotheses and statistical validation of results
Educates the organization both from EITS (Enterprise IT Security) and the business perspectives on new approaches
Helps the organization understand the principles and the math behind the process to drive organizational buy-in
Provides technical coaching and mentoring to less-experienced team members
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience
2+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in life sciences, healthcare data analytics or data engineering. (Python, SQL, SAS, Generative AI, ML, NLP)
Preferred
Advanced Data Analytics Certifications preferred
AI and ML Certifications preferred
SAS Statistical Business Analyst Professional Certification preferred
