Responsibilities

Designing, building, maintaining data pipelines
Maintaining data in metadata repository, data quality
Migrating data from on-prem relational databases to RDS using DMS
Transforming data using stored procedures for reporting layer
Working with serverless environments such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EventBridge
Using Git/Github for CI/CD deployments
Potentially building data models

Required

AWS Data Engineering core stack (DMS, Lambdas, RDS Postgres, S3)
SQL and PL/SQL - very strong SQL needed
Experience in on-prem relational databases (SQL Server)
Core engineering and analytics background and mindset
Strong AWS experience - DMS, Lambdas, RDS, S3, EventBridge
Experience working in serverless environments
Some experience in Git/Github, CI/CD deployments

Preferred

Terraform very nice
Business Objects and/or Tableau
Python
