They are seeking an IT Business Analyst III to collect and interpret data, analyze results, and work closely with Financial Crimes Analysts to review business requirements and data needs.

Responsibilities
Collect and interpret data, analyzing results using analytical techniques to provide ongoing results in a comprehensive manner
Work closely with Financial Crimes Analysts and Quantitative Modelers to review business requirements and data needs
Review data flow designs to understand and communicate impacts related to new data sources and/or new projects
Review and work with the business to obtain requirements
Determine impacts and translate requirements for Development teams
Complete business analysis tasks and help manage timelines in support of various projects
Manage processes and improve methods and procedures
Locate and define new process improvement and automation opportunities
Work with development partners to implement improvements and develop standards
Manage project deliverables and timelines, reviewing status with project teams
Coordinate and multi-task for various projects
Manage issues and influence others to remediate
Qualification
Required
Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills in collecting, organizing, and evaluating business data
Ability to report research results in a comprehensive, concise manner and develop precise, clear metrics
Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with all levels of teammates
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner
Working knowledge of financial instruments/products across Capital Markets, Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, and Wealth Management (Securities, Derivatives, Credit card, Real-time payments, Person-to-Person payments, etc.)
Working experience in Pega projects
Understanding databases with technical skills in querying and analyzing data (SQL or equivalent)
Experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.)
Experience working in a Technology group
Preferred
Experience working in Global Financial Crimes Technology with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Economic Sanctions knowledge
Experience with Risk management disciplines
