Start in 2026 SpringIrwin is seeking an Accounting Intern for Summer 2026 to support their billing and payables teams. The intern will assist with invoice management, payment processing, and customer collections while gaining valuable experience in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities
Process and manage vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
Participate in weekly payment runs, contributing to the efficient disbursement of funds
Generate and distribute customer invoices, maintaining accurate billing records
Validate order details to ensure accuracy
Assist with customer collections, contributing to the management of accounts receivable
Compile and report purchase contract data, providing valuable insights to the finance team
Attend monthly collections meetings, gaining exposure to financial discussions and strategies
Support various financial tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department
Qualification
Required
Interest in accounting, finance, or general business operations
Demonstrated comfort and proficiency with technology, including spreadsheet software and financial systems
Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new financial processes and procedures
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders
Strong attention to detail
