Research & Writing Professor
Cooley Law School is hiring a professor to teach research-and-writing courses. The role involves teaching multiple required writing courses and participating in faculty governance and leadership opportunities.

Teach two sections per term from a menu of four required writing courses: Research & Writing I, Research & Writing II, Advocacy, and Writing for Practice
May also have opportunities to cover electives such as Scholarly Writing or Drafting

The hired professor will teach at Cooley's Tampa campus
The new professor will teach two sections per term from a menu of four required writing courses: Research & Writing I, Research & Writing II, Advocacy, and Writing for Practice
The professor may also have opportunities to cover electives such as Scholarly Writing or Drafting
The new professor should expect to participate in committee work and will have immediate opportunities for leadership roles
Salary will depend on experience and credentials
We will consider applicants of every experience level
We will consider conferring tenured status immediately subject to approval by the voting faculty if the new hire enjoys that status at another school or brings extensive experience or standing in the field
We teach year-round, so expect a regular summer term
All writing faculty at Cooley are on the tenure track
