Payroll Specialist
Find Great People | FGP is a professional services company in Duncan seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist. The role involves compiling payroll data, reviewing employee time sheets, and processing weekly payroll transfers.
Responsibilities
Compiles payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance, and 401(k) deductions
Review employee time sheets and verify the information for completeness and accuracy
Contact various client supervisors for any missed times or incomplete data
Process weekly transfer of payroll data for direct deposit to payroll system
Compile internal management reports from payroll system software
Calculates client bill rates based on employee pay rates and hours worked
Qualification
Required
1 – 3 years of payroll experience is required
Ability to demonstrate technical computer proficiency (Specifically 10-Key and Microsoft Excel)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be punctual and to maintain time management
Detail oriented and thorough work requirements
