The United States Senate is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Constituent Services Representative/Caseworker to join the Office of Senator Jim Risch in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The role involves serving as a trusted advocate for Idahoans, helping constituents navigate issues involving federal, state, and local agencies, and working to resolve problems efficiently and respectfully.

Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison with federal, state, and/or local agencies on behalf of Idaho constituents, responding to correspondence and communications

Respond to constituent casework inquiries by phone, email, and written correspondence

Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies to help resolve constituent concerns

Communicate with public officials to apprise them of constituent issues and support successful outcomes

Screen incoming cases and refer as appropriate to other regional offices

Prepare periodic casework reports for the Casework Director on pending activities

Required

Regular, predictable, and punctual in-person attendance required, including handling confidential constituent matters and meeting with constituents

Public-facing role requiring prompt, courteous, and respectful service

Assist with general administrative and office support duties

Comfortable using standard office tools and technology, including email, telephone, and typical office equipment
