Talent Wave Associates is seeking a seasoned professional to design and enhance control systems for automated machinery. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing control systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize control systems for automated equipment
Conduct thorough system testing and validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements
Implement and troubleshoot software for control systems
Maintain and update technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards
Monitor system performance, integrating new technologies as needed
Provide training and technical support to personnel and other departments
Analyze data to improve processes and efficiency, participating in continuous improvement activities
Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for equipment and software needs
Ensure compliance with PDP, TS16949, and ISO Quality Standards
Travel occasionally for customer, supplier visits, and trade shows (~10%)

Required

Proven experience in PLC programming, HMI, and SCADA systems
Familiarity with industrial networking protocols and CAD software
Strong project management and leadership skills
Hands-on experience in robotics, automation, and data analytics
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
Physical ability to inspect equipment on-site when required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field
Extensive experience in controls engineering or similar role
Strong understanding of PLCs, DCS, and regulatory compliance
