Eaton is a global power management company that is currently seeking a Tester - 1st Shift to join their team. The Tester will perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on single phase and three phase medium voltage UPS systems while ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

You will exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position

You will ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton’s quality guidelines as they move throughout the production process and perform quality checks as instructed

You will read electronic schematics to ensure products meet defined specifications

You will report any Non-conformance items by utilizing our Quality Management Guidelines

You will recommend modifications and improvements to enhance the products for quality, reliability, manufacturability and cost effectiveness

You will communicate with Production Associates, Quality Engineering Technician, Manufacturing Engineers and Test Engineers to resolve daily production and warranty issues

You will check maintain equipment to ensure compliance with ISO 9000:2000 standards

You will identify and implement corrective actions for the repair, replacement and calibration of laboratory tools and manufacturing equipment

You will use the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work area

Required

Associate's Degree in electronics from an accredited school required

Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in electronics
