Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for both functional and nonfunctional testing
Implement best practices for test automation to ensure efficiency, scalability, and maintainability
Continuously explore and integrate modern automation techniques to improve the overall testing process
Help maintain and improve the testing infrastructure, including support for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline test environments and ensure seamless integration with the development lifecycle
Monitor and tune the testing infrastructure to ensure reliable and effective operation
Define and implement comprehensive test strategies that cover the full spectrum of testing needs
Ensure testing methodologies align with industry best practices and the organization's quality standards
Partner with development and product teams to drive a shiftleft approach throughout the SDLC
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in Software, Test, or QA Engineering roles
Strong technical background in test automation and infrastructure as code
Ability to explain deep technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of experience
Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium or Detox
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong collaboration skills with a broad range of functional areas
Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, etc
Experience with object-oriented languages and frameworks such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, etc
Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Preferred
Bachelor of Science degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
