Associate Aircraft Electrical Assembly Mechanic (5343)
Boeing Aerospace Operations is seeking Associate Aircraft Electrical Assembly Mechanics to join their Executive Fleet team in San Antonio, TX. The role involves performing electrical modifications and repairs, troubleshooting aircraft systems, and ensuring quality checks of electrical assemblies.

Responsibilities
Perform connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring
Ability and understanding of routing instructions and handling of harnesses
Perform sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying, and closure of wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processes
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modifications and repairs
Use tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of electrical wiring
Perform assembly, installation, visual inspection of physical characteristics, modification of wire bundles & electrical assemblies, operational and quality checks of aircraft
Troubleshoot organizational and depot maintenance level malfunctions in aircraft electrical and comms/nav-systems
Interpret standard work instructions, charts, tables, blueprints, wire diagrams, formulas, sketches, verbal and electronic orders, job layouts, etc
Use all equipment in accordance with established safety and operating procedures
Perform all tasks involved in the coordination, preparation, and movement of material and tools
Operate riding type electric powered elevating equipment to accomplish work assignments
Maintain necessary certifications, licenses and permits as required for assigned work
Perform all duties of lower Electrical classifications as required to successfully accomplish assignments
Ascend and descend vertical work ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds
Qualification
Required
4+ years experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications
4+ years experience in a technical or mechanical field performing work with basic hand, power, and pneumatic tools
4+ years experience with various wiring design drawings including system interconnects, wire routing and equipment installation drawings
4+ years experience in aerospace or manufacturing with wire routing, dressing, hook-up/mating connections
4+ years experience in aerospace or manufacturing with wire resistance/continuity check ins
4+ years experience in aerospace or manufacturing with wire rework (wire repair, rerouting, connector disconnect, pin removal/install)
4+ years experience in aerospace or manufacturing with wire connections; splicing, soldering and heat shrink
4+ years experience in aerospace or manufacturing with connector build up
This position requires the ability to pass an assessment during the training cycle
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements may be required for this position
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location (San Antonio, TX)
Maintain necessary certifications, licenses and permits as required for assigned work

Preferred
3+ years of experience with avionics systems, shop mathematics and practices and electrical/electronic theories
FAA certification in Airframe and/or Power Plant
