Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of personal injury matters independently, from initial client intake through trial or settlement
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, and trials
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members
Provide top-tier legal representation in maximizing results for clients
Qualification
Required
2 to 10+ years of experience handling personal injury cases
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Connecticut and New York, or actively working toward dual licensure
Strong litigation and courtroom skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation abilities
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
Doctorate (Required)
Ability to Commute: Bridgeport, CT 06604 (Required)
Work Location: In person
Preferred
Prior experience in both jurisdictions is strongly preferred; however, candidates with deep experience in one state and a commitment to developing proficiency in the other are encouraged to apply
