Responsibilities

Leads the Clinical Laboratory Operations' group by developing, communicating, and building consensus for goals/programs that support business or region

Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility

Develops clinical laboratory operations goals and objectives including identifying and implementing opportunities for enhanced patient satisfaction

Reports on operational performance, justification and/or corrective action

Implements policies, standards and procedures that support and facilitate clinical laboratory operations services across the system

Develops strategies for clinical laboratory operations programs adaptation to market changes and implements new service delivery models

Selects, develops, manages, and evaluates direct reports; oversees the selection, development, management and evaluation of indirect reports

Reviews comprehensiveness of programs on an ongoing basis and develops strategies for program adaptation to market changes

Identifies and implements technology to improve operations
