Responsibilities

Assist with specific customer requests
Work with project team members to optimize customer control systems
Keep internal and external groups aware of new product and site configuration information
Provide project sales support and sell Daktronics control system products & services
Identify core application needs of clients and recommend control systems solutions
Present technical features and benefits of Daktronics products vs. market competitors
Act as a technical liaison for new display projects
Support internal & external sales and engineering teams
Assist with proposal development and technical solutions design
Present technical writing and contribute to system architecture discussions
Educate and enable the sales team on technical capabilities and limitations
Present and sell LED control offerings and explain integration with AV environments
Maintain understanding of current market trends and industry standards
Stay informed on emerging technologies and translate knowledge into actionable insights
Work with 3rd party content management software products and understand their strengths and weaknesses
Be well-versed in Daktronics' own CMS offering, Venus Control Suite

Required

Bachelor's degree. Preferred majors include electronic engineering technology, computer engineering technology, technical management, or a technical or business field
You will work effectively as a team member. Work with limited daily supervision
Strong Communication skills including verbal and written skills, interpersonal, ability to develop and present winning presentations of Daktronics products and services
Experience selling product values and features. Must demonstrate ability to successfully negotiate price without being the lowest price supplier
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment. Represent Daktronics confidently and professionally
Motivated and a team-player. Initiative to solve problems and seek improvement. Goal-oriented with proven leadership capability
Become knowledgeable and follow Daktronics policies, processes, and procedures
Travel to customer sites and offices and build and maintain customer relationships; position yourself as an expert and trusted technical advisor
Fluent in English, written and verbal
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
Daktronics does not sponsor, renew, or extend immigration visas for this position

Preferred

Prefer experience with control system operation, system integration, and programmatic scheduling
Knowledge of Daktronics products, hardware, and software used in various markets is beneficial
Will need to be accessible after regular business hours, which may include multiple time zones for meetings
Ability to work from a home office location
Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid driver's license. Must be able to meet and maintain Daktronics Driving Eligibility Requirements. Motor vehicle records will be checked
