Responsibilities
Guide clients through the process of assessing and selecting mortgage options tailored to their financial and homeownership goals
Work with borrowers to complete loan applications
Evaluate creditworthiness
Collaborate with underwriting teams
Ensure timely loan processing and closings
Build relationships with real estate professionals
Maintain an understanding of the mortgage market trends
Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the lending process
Qualification
Required
Experience in Loan Officer roles within the Mortgage Industry and familiarity with Mortgage Lending practices
Strong understanding of Underwriting principles and expertise in financial evaluation and risk assessment
Excellent Customer Service skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build long-term client relationships
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt in a hybrid work setting
Analytical skills and attention to detail for managing loan files and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
A valid Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Preferred
Knowledge of various mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and specialty loans
