Responsibilities

Programming and operating CMM systems

Inspecting CNC-manufactured parts using CMM

Conducting thorough data reviews during inspections

Ensuring accurate reporting of inspection results

Preparing In Process Inspection Reports

Contributing to QMS First Article Inspection plans

Collaborating with the QMS coordinator

Assisting in meeting quality management system requirements

Aiding in quoting quality functions for new projects

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

3+ years programming/operation of CMM (CALYPSO preferred)

Knowledge of common quality inspections methods and tools

Ability to read blueprints

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook

In-depth understanding/training in GD&T

Experience working in an AS9100 and/or ISO 13485 certified manufacturing facility

Ability to prepare inspection plans

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Should be extremely organized

Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Must follow company established safety procedures and minimum vision standards, corrected or uncorrected, as follows: Snellen 14/18, 20/25 or better, Jaeger Type 2 at 14 inches, or Ortho-Rated 8
