Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

Lead month‑end and quarter‑end close, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, allocations, and account reconciliations across multiple business units
Prepare financial statements, consolidated reporting packages, and analytical summaries highlighting trends, risks, and operational insights
Maintain and improve allocation methodologies—ensuring that cost distribution across departments, projects, and functions is accurate, logical, and consistently applied
Conduct variance analysis, research anomalies, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions proactively
Collaborate with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives; provide scenario analysis for leadership decision‑making
Partner with operational teams to understand workflows, assess financial impacts, and translate business activity into meaningful financial reporting
Oversee day‑to‑day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process continuity across transactions and accounting cycles
Identify process gaps and develop improved workflows—encouraging collaboration, documentation, and long‑term scalability
Support audit preparation, internal controls evaluation, and system/process enhancements
Champion continuous improvement by brainstorming automation opportunities, refining procedures, and elevating accounting practices across the team

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
4+ years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to both reporting and analytics
Strong understanding of cost allocations, inter‑department distributions, and multi‑entity or multi‑function environments
Proven ability to identify errors, dig into discrepancies, and drive resolutions independently
A self‑starter who sees the big picture, anticipates downstream impacts, and understands how their work influences financial outcomes, operations, and leadership decision‑making
