Responsibilities
Design and specify functionality
Implement feature requests and bug fixes
Create automated tests
Create and maintain documentation for operating the software
Support or advise on customer deployments when required
Participate in the Engineering process as directed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or more in computer science, computer engineering
At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer
Hands-on experience with Linux
Hands-on experience with container orchestration technologies, preferably Kubernetes
Working experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure
Working knowledge of containers (such as Docker)
Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell or Python
Strong knowledge of at least one of C/C++, Java, or Golang
Working knowledge of Javascript (Angular, React)
Preferred
At least 10 years of professional experience as a software engineer, with technical leadership responsibilities
Experience with Kubernetes and cloud orchestration technologies - Terraform, Helm Charts
Experience with HPC (high performance computing), either in platform or application domains
Experience with REST API services
Experience working in Agile teams using the Scrum process
