Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer

SRM Digital LLC is seeking an Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer to provide advanced technical support and resolve complex infrastructure issues. Responsibilities

Provide advanced technical support for infrastructure issues related to servers, networks, data centers, cloud platforms, email systems, file shares, and enterprise services
Diagnose, research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software and hardware issues that cannot be resolved by L1/L2 teams
Act as an escalation point for critical incidents, ensuring resolution within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Proactively identify, create, and manage incident tickets for issues observed during monitoring or operations
Replicate reported issues to perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
Serve as a customer-facing technical expert during high-impact incidents, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills
Operate as a key interface between customers and internal Product & Engineering teams
Clearly document findings, resolutions, and preventive measures for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Work effectively under pressure during service outages or business-critical incidents
Administer and maintain enterprise-level infrastructure environments, including: On-premises Data Centers, Cloud platforms, Network and server environments
Perform high-end administrative tasks related to system configuration, optimization, and security
Support infrastructure planning, design, refresh, and lifecycle management activities
Act as a technical leader and mentor for junior engineers; often functions as a team lead or subject-matter authority
Troubleshoot, configure, and administer: LAN, WAN, and Wireless Networks, Cisco Layer 2 & Layer 3 routing and switching, Cisco Wireless Networks, Cisco PBX systems
Perform packet capture and analysis using tools such as Wireshark
Manage network maintenance, upgrades, and refresh initiatives

Required

Extensive hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure support at Tier 3 (L3) level
Strong expertise in network, server, cloud, and data center operations
Proven ability to resolve high-complexity technical issues independently
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to work in high-pressure, customer-impacting environments

Preferred

Cisco CCNA certification (preferred or required)
