Mid LevelQualis1 Inc. is seeking a strong RISK Analyst with hands-on SOX Controls experience to support enterprise risk, governance, and compliance initiatives. This role involves supporting SOX compliance activities and ensuring effective risk management across business and IT processes.
Responsibilities
Support SOX 404 compliance activities (ITGCs & business controls)
Design, document, and test SOX controls
Perform control effectiveness testing and evidence validation
Identify control gaps and support remediation efforts
Work with internal audit, external auditors, and business owners
Maintain risk and control documentation within GRS/GRC tools
Assist with risk assessments and compliance reporting
Qualification
Required
Strong experience as a RISK Analyst / GRS Analyst
Hands-on expertise in SOX Controls (ITGC & business controls)
Experience with control testing, walkthroughs, and remediation
Familiarity with GRC / GRS tools (ServiceNow GRC, SAP GRC, Archer, etc.)
Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Experience working with audit and compliance teams
Preferred
Exposure to financial systems and IT controls
Experience supporting external audits
Strong understanding of risk management frameworks
