Moveras, LLC is a leading remanufacturer of automotive transmissions, and they are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead their facility's maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will oversee a small maintenance team, ensuring efficient and safe operation of all equipment and facility systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day maintenance operations across the facility

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment

Create and oversee preventive maintenance tasks and schedules

Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues (electrical background preferred)

Maintain and service HVAC systems (experience required)

Ensure general building maintenance, including plumbing, lighting, and basic carpentry

Supervise and mentor a small team of maintenance technicians

Work closely with production and operations to minimize downtime

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using basic computer skills

Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary

Promote and ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures

OSHA compliance (1910 standards, recordkeeping, audits)

Safety training programs & incident investigations

Environmental compliance (waste, stormwater, air permits)

Regulatory inspections & agency interface

PPE programs, JHAs, lockout/tagout

Contractor safety & permit oversight

Emergency response planning
