Responsibilities
Deliver an outstanding Made-to-Measure experience that reflects Thom Sweeney’s standards of precision, discretion, and elegance
Conduct expert fittings and consultations, ensuring accuracy in measurements, fit, and garment construction
Advise clients with authority on fabrics, styling, and wardrobe development, reflecting a deep understanding of contemporary tailoring
Liaise with London tailoring and production teams to ensure flawless execution and on-time delivery
Oversee alterations and post-delivery follow-up, maintaining long-term client satisfaction and trust
Drive MTM revenue and appointment growth for Madison Avenue, achieving monthly and annual targets
Proactively identify and cultivate new clients through outreach, networking, and referrals
Maintain strong relationships with top local clients and high-potential prospects
Partner with the Store Director and Head of MTM to create and execute sales strategies that maximise appointment flow and conversion
Support trunk shows, events, and collaborations that elevate the brand’s MTM profile in New York and nationally
Act as the in-store expert and mentor for MTM, supporting colleagues in product knowledge and client approach
Help coordinate MTM scheduling, training, and seasonal fabric presentations with the wider retail and tailoring teams
Contribute to a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
Represent the Thom Sweeney aesthetic and values in appearance, communication, and attitude
Uphold and promote the brand’s philosophy of modern British tailoring with timeless relevance
Build lasting relationships that reflect the integrity, discretion, and sophistication of the brand
Qualification
Required
Deep tailoring expertise
Confidence in client development
Genuine passion for luxury menswear and craftsmanship
Ability to deliver an outstanding Made-to-Measure experience
Expertise in conducting fittings and consultations
Accuracy in measurements, fit, and garment construction
Authority in advising clients on fabrics, styling, and wardrobe development
Understanding of contemporary tailoring
Ability to liaise with London tailoring and production teams
Oversight of alterations and post-delivery follow-up
