Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and implement public safety software solutions
Write new code as the primary responsibility of the position
Develop software independently and collaboratively, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
Conduct unit, functional, and performance testing
Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and quality best practices
Troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely resolutions
Provide technical support to client support teams and assist with root cause analysis
Analyze business requirements and estimate effort for design and development tasks
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions
Support Agile/Scrum methodologies and the SDLC process
Participate in interviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong expertise in Java and server-side development using Spring Boot
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Hands-on experience with Angular for building interactive user interfaces
Strong experience with Node.js and backend JavaScript/TypeScript services
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Experience working with AWS and cloud-based architectures
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and application maintenance skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Candidate must reside in the Dallas area and be available to work on-site every Wednesday
This is a 6-month hourly contract with the possibility of extension
Allowed visa statuses: GC, GC EAD, USC, or H4 EAD (background check will be conducted)
Candidate must provide valid identification for verification

It is strongly preferred that key technologies (Angular, Node, TypeScript, AWS, PostgreSQL) are highlighted or underlined in the resume
This is an urgent requirement, and submissions are needed as soon as possible
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Senior-level development experience in complex, enterprise environments
Advanced expertise in Angular, including component-based architecture and best practices
Familiarity with technologies related to voice and video communication
