Responsibilities
Provide field service support with a focus on maintaining 99% system uptime
Diagnose and repair faulted inverters and energy storage systems
Troubleshoot mechanical, electro-mechanical, and control system issues
Perform annual and periodic preventive maintenance inspections
Document maintenance activities and findings
Assist in developing and improving maintenance programs
Perform start-up and commissioning for new PV inverter and energy storage installations
Inspect physical installations (wiring, terminations, connections, and mechanical condition)
Power up systems, set parameters, and verify proper operation
Monitor system performance and efficiency
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional, responsive service
Prepare and submit accurate, timely service reports
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
At least 2 years of industry experience working with inverters
Preferred
2-year technical degree and/or equivalent technical certification
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Solid analytical and quantitative skills
Solar industry field service experience
Customer-focused mindset with a professional, service-oriented demeanor
