Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all phases of complex IT projects and programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure timely and successful delivery
Manage cross-functional teams, including internal staff, external vendors, and consultants
Oversee software implementations, integrations, and infrastructure deployments with a focus on quality and scalability
Drive cybersecurity and identity-related initiatives in collaboration with security and compliance teams
Facilitate enterprise-wide change management efforts to ensure adoption and minimize disruption
Manage project budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective delivery
Provide executive-level reporting and communication to senior leadership and stakeholders
Mentor and coach junior project managers, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
Ensure adherence to VUMC’s governance, compliance, and risk management standards
Qualification
Required
5 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor's degree
Expert in managing multiple interdependent projects and programs
Skilled in delivering complex information to varied audiences
Proactive in identifying and resolving issues in high-pressure environments
Ability to align project execution with organizational strategy
Experience leading organizational change initiatives
Proven ability to manage third-party relationships and negotiate contracts
Familiarity with cloud architecture (e.g., Azure, AWS) and SaaS platforms
