Responsibilities
Engineer Solutions: Design and implement robust backend services and RESTful APIs to support critical business applications across Field Operations Technology
Own the Lifecycle: Take full ownership of your features, from initial design through deployment. This includes writing unit tests, establishing CI/CD pipelines, security best practices and monitoring production performance
Solve Complex Technology Challenges: Collaborate and Architect efficient solutions leveraging industry standards and best practices
Innovate & Learn: Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies—such as LLMs, agents, and the latest Azure features—to find faster and better ways to address business challenges
Collaborate: Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate their needs into effective technical solutions, ensuring that requirements address the real problem
Qualification
Required
5+ years Coding Proficiency: Deep expertise in Java with an emphasis in Spring Boot
Engineering Fundamentals: A strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, algorithms, and system design. You understand the reasoning behind your technical choices
Database Knowledge: Solid experience with relational databases (SQL), complex queries
Cloud Native Mindset: Practical experience building applications in a cloud environment (Azure preferred, but AWS or GCP experience is applicable)
Adaptability: A proven track record of quickly learning new languages, frameworks, or tools. You embrace new challenges and continually expand your skillset
Problem-Solving Approach: A solution-oriented mindset, with the curiosity to dig deep and address core business needs—not just surface-level requests
Collaborative Spirit: The ability to work closely with both technical teams and business partners, translating complex needs into actionable solutions
Continuous Improvement: A drive to stay ahead by experimenting with and integrating emerging technologies
Preferred
Experience with the Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, SQL, DevOps), interest or background in GenAI/LLMs, and familiarity with DevOps practices like CI/CD, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science
