Responsibilities
Design scalable, fault-tolerant architectures for AI-driven industrial platforms (LLM pipelines, inference systems, monitoring systems)
Lead end-to-end architecture for on-prem deployments, edge compute environments, and GPU-backed clusters
Define data models, API interactions, and integration patterns for high-volume industrial data sources
Mentor and guide engineering teams (AI Engineers, full stack and DevOps Engineers)
Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps with clear milestones
Review code, enforce engineering best practices, and drive architectural consistency
Make build-vs-buy decisions, evaluate open-source components, and ensure security & compliance
Work with AI engineers to train open LLMs, design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, domain-specific LLMs, and agentic workflows
Architect data pipelines for OSINT/SIGINT/OPSINT ingestion, real-time turbine telemetry, and sensor networks
Optimize inference, caching, and dataflows for low-latency industrial applications
Ensure systems meet strict uptime requirements — across monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks
Drive incident response best practices; guide debugging of distributed system failures
Implement role-based access, encryption, and end-to-end data governance
Work tightly with Product, AI Research, and Energy/Intelligence domain experts
Break down complex requirements into actionable engineering tasks
Own technical communication internally and externally (customers, partners, integrators)
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership/architect role
Strong command of Python, Go, or Node, and experience designing large backend systems
Deep understanding of: Distributed systems & microservices, High-availability architectures, Object storage (S3, MinIO and Azure blob), Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Hands-on experience with LLMs, vector databases, RAG, or ML pipelines, LangGraph, LangSmith
Understanding of chunking, embeddings, model tuning, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows
Experience deploying models on GPU infrastructure is a plus
Preferred
Energy systems, turbines, SCADA/OMS/EMS integrations
Cybersecurity & zero-trust architectures
OSINT/SIGINT data, threat intelligence systems
