Saab, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Services Engineer to join our team in Camp Pendleton, CA. This role provides highly visible customer support through on-site installation, as well as overseeing diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site installation and maintenance of complex equipment and systems

Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair equipment as needed

Verify and approve operational quality of system equipment

Instruct customers in system operation and maintenance

Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects

Interpret customer needs and determine whether problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support representatives, or engineers

Provide field support across all relevant areas, including system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking

Apply learned techniques and contribute to analysis and investigation to solve problems, exercising judgment within defined procedures

Build productive internal and external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions

Focus on providing standard professional advice and creating initial reports and analyses for review by experienced team professionals

Deliver consistent, high-quality customer support

Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% annually
