Responsibilities

Coordinate communications for the Affinity Giving Team

Support volunteer leadership within the affinity circles

Partner with internal support teams to ensure smooth operations

Manage projects from start to finish, adapting to changing priorities

Play a hands-on role in the grant cycles process and Affinity Giving Grants Day

Collaborate with colleagues across development, marketing, annual giving, donor relations, and events

Required

Strong problem-solving, organization and project management skills

Must be able to exercise excellent judgement in the handling of confidential information

Interpersonal skills and judgement suitable for exercising appropriate discretion and demeanor when interacting with colleagues, volunteers, donors, and other members of the public

High level of experience and proficiency with systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office/Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Commitment to producing high-quality and professional work that is timely, accurate, and attentive to details

Excellent writing skills with the ability to create appropriate content for unique target audiences

Ability to navigate complex situations with a solution-oriented focus, poise, and confidence

Demonstrated service-oriented mindset

Bachelor's degree required

Minimum 3 years of professional experience strongly preferred

Experience prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Supporting senior leadership strongly preferred

Strong understanding of identity-based donor communities and respective giving motivations preferred

Combination of education/career experience will be considered
