Responsibilities

Drive new revenue
Lead outreach efforts across a mix of commercial, public sector, and service-driven organizations
Build a strong pipeline through consistent prospecting, engagement, and follow-through
Identify gaps, uncover operational needs, and position the right solutions with clarity and confidence
Consult with clients across multiple sectors
Run meetings, presentations, and proposals that land with impact
Guide clients through evaluations and recommendations
Serve as a trusted advisor who understands both business strategy and day-to-day challenges
Work closely with marketing on targeted outreach, campaigns, and case examples
Share competitive insights that help shape broader go-to-market strategy
Support forecasting and reporting to ensure the sales process runs smoothly

Required

A Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University in electronics, telecommunications, IT, electrical engineering, or related fields. Professional experience in lieu of education will also be considered
A hunter's mindset with the drive to win new business
3-5+ years of outside B2B Sales experience, preferably selling complex products and solutions
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas
Comfort working with leaders across corporate, public sector, and operations-driven environments
Skilled at consultative selling, relationship building, and identifying true business needs
A clear, ethical approach to how you represent yourself and the company
All applicants must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship or employment restrictions
All applicants must reside in the Kansas City Metropolitan area, or already be in the process of relocating to the area

Preferred

Prior experience in B2B or B2G sales
Experience in low-voltage contracting
Experience in building technology systems
Experience in smart building solutions
Experience in industrial automation
Experience in facilities technology services
Experience in IT infrastructure solutions
Experience in networked hardware or IoT platforms
