Responsibilities

Reports to the Systems Application Manager

Must have a clear understanding of systems functionality and/or departmental processes as they relate to the supported system/application(s)

Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are required for interpreting and distributing documentation related to systems/application functionality, upgrades and enhancements

Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering systems limitations

Responsible for leading multiple phases of a project

Duties may include instructing system users on workflows, mentoring, directing and checking the work of other analysts

Must be able to work both independently and as a team member in a solution-oriented, customer-focused environment

Required

High School Diploma or GED

If hired into a role supporting an Epic application, Epic certification is required within 6 months of date of hire or transfer, or within three (3) attempts at passing the certification exam (effective October 1, 2012)

New Version Training (NVT) is required with each Epic version release and must be maintained

Periodic Epic re-certification is required every 3-5 years or per version release to maintain certification and continued employment within IT

Five (5) or more years of relevant IT experience

Ability to work independently in a high-production, fast-paced, and potentially stressful environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Basic understanding of and experience with personal computers (PCs)

Ability to represent IT as a knowledgeable subject matter expert and provide insights into operational workflows related to application use

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred

Degree in an applicable field (e.g., Business Administration, Allied Health, Computer Science, or related field)

Technical certification(s)

Five (5) years of experience in analysis, content building, and project management within the applicable application or Epic module
