MSL is a global company dedicated to making clients more influential and impactful. They are seeking a Finance Manager to support the Finance Director and ensure the agency's financial health, including budget preparation and monthly revenue reviews.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day support on tasks for the Finance Director

Support the Finance Director with requests received from key account team stakeholders and the head of Finance

Lead the preparation of rolling forecasts and annual budget (“commitment”), with guidance and support from the Finance Director

Monthly review of the Client Revenue as part of the month-end close to ensure adherence to the annual budget and the latest forecast and identify action items to be completed by the finance support team

Partner with the finance team to ensure smooth and timely completion of month-end close activities

Monthly preparation and review of client trackers and billing with key account team members

Liaise between job management team, AR team, accounting team, and account team on an ad-hoc basis

Autonomously manages monthly and recurrent workflows and engages with the finance support team and account team on various operational tasks

Assist Finance Director and resource management on staffing reviews

Manage Key reporting deadlines for clients

Prepare Monthly burn reports for account leads

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

5+ years of work experience (preferably in Finance or Accounting)

Comprehension and working experience with general accounting concepts (e.g., debits/credits, expense recognition, balance sheet, etc.), Budgeting, and Variance Analysis

Strong technical skills, especially Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.)

Interpersonal skills necessary to build partnerships and communicate with diverse groups company-wide (including senior management)

Fast learner who establishes priorities to maximize efficiency and collaborates with all Finance teams to meet deadlines

Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and oral) and strong critical thinking skills

Ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment and detail-oriented
