Responsibilities
Operate various types of manual, semi-auto or automatic machines
Preform daily basic maintenance of the tooling and machines
Track time, materials and productivity through internal computer programs
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Inspect the product before and after processing and reject the defective parts according to quality requirements
Meet daily production goals
Be in charge of installation and packaging of products according to department standards
Participate in the resolution of problems by improving processes and bringing ideas to the table
Follow all safety protocols
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
1 year production experience required
effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
strong interpersonal skills including demonstrated listening skills and the ability to present ideas and thoughts concisely and effectively both internally and outside the organization
have the ability to lift, push, pull, twist and bend, kneel and reach throughout the workday
be able to use foot or knee controls of industrial sewing machines
be able to lift 20lbs
Preferred
Industrial sewing machine experience preferred
