Accounts Payable Manager

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle AP, including invoice entry, three-way matching (PO/invoice/receipt), check runs, and electronic payments
Maintain vendor files, resolve discrepancies, and serve as the primary contact for vendor inquiries
Ensure adherence to policies, proper coding, and internal controls
Prepare AP aging reports, assist with month-end close, issue 1099s, and support audits
Supervise AP staff (if applicable), prioritize workload, and drive efficiency
Leverage financial software and automation for improved processes
Review requisitions, generate purchase orders, and support budget reporting
Process invoices, check requests, and employee expense reports
Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
Manage monthly/annual financial reporting processes
Handle inter-company invoicing and credit card workflows
Collaborate with school bookkeepers and other departments
