Responsibilities
Design and build custom applications and playbooks in Splunk SOAR beyond standard templates
Develop automation workflows using Python, including robust error handling and logging
Implement secure password vaulting and syncing with external repositories
Review API documentation and integrate third-party services with Splunk SOAR
Understand and explain Splunk SOAR architecture, including key daemons/services and their functions
Create detailed technical documentation for orchestration and integrations
Collaborate with internal teams to set up integrations and follow enterprise change management processes
Qualification
Required
Deep understanding of architecture and advanced orchestration capabilities in Splunk SOAR
Ability to build applications from scratch (not just modify existing ones)
Strong proficiency in Python for automation workflows
Experience integrating third-party services securely
Knowledge of secure coding, password vaulting, and enterprise security standards
