Assisting attorneys with all phases of litigation from case evaluation and initiation through trial
Drafting and filing pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses
Organizing and maintaining case files, exhibits and document productions
Coordinating and preparing for depositions, hearings and trials
Conducting factual research and summarizing depositions and documents
Communicating with clients, witnesses, court personnel and counsel
Managing court deadlines and maintaining detailed calendaring systems
Assisting with electronic discovery and document management
Qualification
Required
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and rules
Experience with e-filing systems
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, case management software and legal research tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
Team-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work product
Preferred
Paralegal certificate or Bachelor's degree
