Quality Assurance Manager( Aviation)-CVG
FEAM Aero is a leader in Aircraft Line Maintenance Engineering in the U.S., and they are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager. The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the internal audit program, manage audits and investigations, and ensure compliance with quality control procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities
Supervises assigned auditor(s)
Manage the company internal/external audit and surveillance program as defined in the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual and other Company policies and procedures
Identify systemic problems with respect to policies and procedures and report deficiencies
Review audit findings and investigation reports to ensure root cause and root cause corrections are properly identified and addressed
Review and ensure entry of all findings, quality escapes and investigation reports into the quality database
Works with management on yearly audit planning
Perform investigations as needed into maintenance errors/quality escapes
Initiates and coordinates administration of Corrective Action Plans (CAP’s) when applicable, works with management to resolve any issues, assisting in the corrective action process both internally and for customers
Review corrective action plan (CAP) responses to ensure they adequately address the root cause of issues/incidents
Performs Safety Risk Analysis, Safety Risk Management functions and oversees the department’s data analysis for the company’s SMS
Responsible for the creation of quarterly review reports through the compilation and analysis of data collected both internally and from customers for management review
Monitor’s inspection procedures and policy on a random basis to ensure quality control procedures are being effectively carried out
Will monitor the operation of Line & Service checks randomly to ensure the proper procedures and paperwork are utilized
Ability to thoroughly audit work packages, ensuring that all assigned work has been properly completed and documented
Act as point of contact during customer, FAA, NAA, and other regulatory agency inquiries or audits of the company records or facilities
Review internal and external audit checklists for scope, depth and relevance to regulatory and industry requirements. Amend or create checklist as necessary
Assist in reviewing and updating procedures of the Repair Station / Quality Control Manual
Maintain the master list and control of inspection stamps and maintain a current roster of authorized Supervisory and Inspection Personnel
Maintains the Repair Station and Customer Airline authorization rosters
Responsible for maintaining the vendor audit processes, procedures and approvals
Maintains the Repair Station Approved Vendor List
Actively drive and support the company’s QMS, SMS and assist the Director of Quality in matters related to the quality program, policies and procedures
Performs Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum five (5) years' experience in aviation quality assurance and regulatory compliance in aviation
Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145 & 121 operations and environment
Strong technical writing skills
Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to set and meet deadlines
Detail oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment with constantly shifting priorities
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Possess a high degree of proficiency with MS Office products (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred
FAA A&P Certificate preferred
Experience with Quality Assurance, auditing, inspection techniques, document control, corrective and preventative actions, continuous improvement, risk management, supplier reviews preferred
