The incumbent will act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with team members to support data and product portfolios while ensuring data sets meet specific business use cases.

Responsibilities
Interpreting customer data requests and identify the best solution
Designing (documenting), building, and testing the relevant Snowflake data model to provide the desired solution
Building Power BI reporting, potentially with Power App supplementation of the developed data flow
Communicating changes and usage to customers and other data consumers
Collaborate with other data scientist to optimize the use of master data and pre-existing data sets to minimize redundancies and siloed data sets
Assist testing and validation of team member development and visualization
Act as a backup for specific products and data sets
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of professional experience in database analysis, transformations, and pipelines; can accept 3 solid years of experience
B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related specialty with an emphasis on digital systems and data
Must be comfortable working in industry standard platforms including Snowflake, Python, and Microsoft Power BI
Must demonstrate strong initiative, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively
SQL Development in Snowflake
Python development for ETL Pipelines
Power BI for front-end reporting and visualization
Business requirement gathering and translation to technical tasks
Adherence of code standards (formats, naming conventions, etc.)
Effective communication
Knowledge of Procurement or Supply Chain processes and products
Presentation skills (to deliver end products)
Detail Oriented
Preferred
SAS experience is a plus
Mentoring (code standards and reviews)
