Director of Business Development, Telecom
Parkhurst Talent Group is supporting a confidential, Atlanta-based organization in hiring a Director of Business Development. This role focuses on originating and closing new business, building relationships with decision-makers, and expanding strategic accounts.
Responsibilities
Own full-cycle business development: prospecting, discovery, solutioning, proposal development, negotiation, and close
Build and manage a healthy pipeline through outbound efforts, referrals, and strategic networking
Inherit and grow an existing portfolio of accounts while expanding new business within the territory
Engage senior stakeholders and deliver consultative, value-based selling conversations
Partner internally to scope solutions, price appropriately, and ensure strong handoff from sales to delivery
Track activity and results with disciplined CRM habits and accurate forecasting
Represent the organization in the market through relationship building and professional presence
Qualification
Required
Proven B2B sales success (new business development and account expansion)
Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
Strong discovery skills and ability to translate client needs into solutions
Comfort selling higher-value services/solutions with longer sales cycles
Executive presence and strong written/verbal communication
Willingness to work in the field and in-person as needed in the Atlanta market
