Human Resources Generalist
InSite Property Group is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the day-to-day operations of their Human Resources department. This role involves recruiting and onboarding employees, administering payroll and benefits, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and promoting positive employee relations.

Responsibilities
Administers and supports payroll processes, compensation changes, benefits enrollment, and leaves of absence (including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and other applicable programs)
Maintains accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
Interprets, applies, and enforces company policies and procedures consistently
Provides guidance to management and employees on HR-related matters, employee relations issues, and workplace conduct
Supports performance management processes, including documentation, corrective actions, and performance evaluations
Assists with investigations, compliance audits, and corrective action processes as needed and with confidentiality
Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, new technologies in human resources, and talent management
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
Preferred
At least one year of human resource management experience preferred
SHRM-CP a plus
