The Villages® is committed to 'Making People’s Dreams Come True' and is seeking a Circulation Customer Service Associate to provide exceptional customer service related to newspaper and magazine deliveries. This role involves handling customer inquiries, processing subscriptions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow-up.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service over the telephone and in person

Evaluate and address customer complaints and service requests in a timely manner

Enter requests for redelivery, delivery interruption, cancelations, and other services into the Circulation system

Follow up with customers to ensure redelivery/restarts and that other services were provided satisfactorily

Operate multi-line telephone system

Process telephone, in-person, and mail subscriptions

Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately

Process cash and/or credit card payments, and when necessary, forward receipts to customers

Review subscription date file and send renewal letters to solicit expiring subscriptions

Address questions regarding the services The Villages Daily Sun offers

All other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to meet deadlines with exceptional attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook
