Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of Java-based applications and services
Define technical architecture and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers
Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable code
Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance
Participate in system design, estimation, and technical decision-making
Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
12+ years of experience in Java development
Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), and Hibernate/JPA
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOLID principles
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
Familiarity with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control systems (Git)
Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Prior experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
