Manager, Thought Leader Liaison

The Manager, Thought Leader Liaison will be responsible for managing peer-to-peer programs and developing relationships with key opinion leaders to support the US Marketing Strategy for their product KIMMTRAK and future indications.

Responsibilities
Advance key opinion leaders (KOLs) strategy for KIMMTRAK in the Eastern United States, which may be leveraged as a template for pipeline products in the future. Work cross-functionally to identify new and cultivate current KOLs, developing strong relationships with these healthcare professionals as their trusted “go-to” commercial contact
Lead development and implementation of peer-to-peer / speaker program educational content, such as slide decks and patient cases, in collaboration with agency partners
Identify and train commercial speakers, manage speaker bureau, and work with the field force to ensure flawless and compliant execution of programs
Develop and execute Medical Expert Engagement Plans (MEEP) aligned with brand objectives
Compliantly and appropriately partner with the cross-functional field team (OAMs: Oncology Account Managers, MSLs: Medical Science Liaisons and Regional Field Directors) to address customer needs and drive business objectives
Identify opportunities for enduring digital peer-to-peer content, lead strategic development with platforms such as OncLive or VuMedi, and negotiate impact guarantees with vendors
Work through the US promotional review process with regulatory, legal, medical, and agency partners for areas of responsibility
Gather timely feedback on tactics and response to key initiatives to enhance execution and identify new program development opportunities or message refinement
Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory and compliance guidelines. Establish or clarify process and gain cross-functional alignment where needed to enable implementation of first-time programs for Immunocore. Work with speakers and contracts team to establish contracts for services
Participate in relevant scientific congresses and regional conferences to stay up to date
Own brand budget for relevant tactics and closely monitor performance to ensure cost effective implementation of all deliverables
Support other ad hoc projects that arise with evolving brand needs and changing market dynamics
Qualification
Required
3-5+ years of commercial pharmaceutical or biotech experience required
US Oncology (Solid Tumors or Malignant Hematology) experience required
Experience working with and developing KOL relationships in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is required
Business acumen with a solid grasp of marketing strategy, brand positioning, and tactical plan development is required
Strong written and verbal skills - be persuasive, engaging, and credible when presenting and working with both internal and external customers
Preferred
Immunotherapy and/or biologic experience is also favorable
MBA, or related advanced life sciences/healthcare degree preferred (Ex. PharmD, MD)
Preferred professional experiences include customer engagement, identification of up-and-coming thought-leaders, speaker program management, and marketing analytics is preferred
